The 2018 Annual Firm Information Update began on October 1 and concluded on October 31. A reminder was sent to Firm Administrators regarding the deadline, as well as other pertinent information about how-to update profiles and Professional Liability Insurance. To date, nearly 80 per cent have completed their firm information update. We would like to thank those who have completed this important regulatory requirement!
Almost 20 per cent of Firm Administrators still need to update their firm profiles. Completing the annual update by the deadline is mandatory for all architectural firms under AIBC Bylaw 15.3 (PDF). It is your firm’s professional responsibility to comply with this bylaw, if only to confirm that the information on record is correct. Failure to complete the annual firm update as requested may constitute a disciplinary violation.
The AIBC uses the information provided during the firm update to issue accurate annual fee invoices. Members can expect to receive their invoices during the week of November 19, 2018.
