Registration Webpages Restructure

May 23, 2019

The Institute is delighted to announce the launch of the newly restructured Registration section of aibc.ca. This part of the website houses important information on everything related to registration with the AIBC.

New Structure and Updated Content

The update to the Registration section (aibc.ca/registration) involved a complete restructure of the webpages, as well as a content refresh. This was done to better reflect the needs of both prospective registrants and those already registered with the Institute.

A new section has been added, titled “Become an Architect AIBC.” These webpages contain information on the various pathways to registration, and are intended to better introduce interested parties to the different registration options, as well as help guide them through the process. This section also features a new pathway to registration infographic, which provides a quick visual overview.

The remaining sections are designed for those already in the profession. To help registrants easily access the information they need, these sections use a consistent structure that includes an overview page, combined with sidebar options to group the key resources specific to that category.

New Internship Section

To better serve intern architects, the content from the outdated internship.aibc.ca website has now been incorporated into the newly updated registration pages on the AIBC’s primary website, aibc.ca.

Intern architects will now have access to more comprehensive information regarding the Internship in Architecture Program. Please update your bookmarks to https://aibc.ca/registration/intern-architects if you regularly access internship.aibc.ca.
