Attention all Intern Architects AIBC! You are invited to attend a free Continuing Education System (CES) Information Session on Wednesday, October 9. As previously announced, intern architects will be participants of the existing CES program, effective July 1, 2020. If you have questions about the system or its requirements, this complimentary session is for you. The event will take place from 6 to 7:30 p.m., with light refreshments served from 5:30 to 6 p.m.
Tailored specifically for intern architects, this CES session will provide information on everything one needs to know about the AIBC’s Continuing Education System, including outlining the core components of the program, as well as its requirements and obligations. This is your opportunity to ask questions directly to the AIBC, connect with other interns, and plan for a smooth transition.
Topics covered during the session will include:
- The number of Learning Units (LUs) required
- The difference between ‘Core’ and ‘Non-core’ LUs
- Activities eligible for self-reports
- Ways to earn LUs
- Where to find important supporting documents and resources
Plenty of time will be set aside for a designated Q&A period. We encourage you to come with all your CES questions! If you would like to submit your questions in advance, you can do so here. All submitted questions will be anonymous.
The session will be delivered by the AIBC Professional Services department at the AIBC offices, and will also be available via WebEx for anyone not based in the Lower Mainland.
