Congratulations to all of the successful candidates!
The Institute thanks those who contributed to the success of this group, particularly Teresa Coady Architect AIBC, the CP Manager, who is responsible for course coordination and delivery.
About the CP Course
The CP Program is an alternative to the conventional building permit and inspection process utilized by the City of Vancouver and the City of Surrey, as well as some other municipalities. Through the program, participating municipalities can issue a building permit on the assurances of a recognized registered professional (engineer or architect) – the CP. The CP Course focuses on Part 3 and the relevant associated provisions of the BC Building Code and the Vancouver Building By-law, and on CP practice.
The next CP Course will start on January 8 and run until April 8, 2020. Registration is open until December 3, 2019 (select “2020” from the dropdown menu).
