The following is based on an announcement from the Building and Safety Standards Branch
Through the CleanBC initiative, the government is working with a range of partners to reduce carbon pollution and build a low-carbon economy, as well as prepare and respond to the impacts of climate change that are already underway.
Two CleanBC engagements have recently launched that are central to these goals, and feedback is being requested from people across the province. The engagements are on the following topics:
- CleanBC Job Readiness, open until November 29, 2019 at 4 p.m.
- Climate Preparedness and Adaptation, open until January 10, 2020 at 4 p.m.
Additional opportunities for public input in this area will follow in early 2020, with the release of the final climate preparedness and adaptation strategy later in the year.
