As recently announced in AIBC’s response to the COVID-19 pandemic, the Institute is following the directive and guidance given by public health officials, and as a result have cancelled the 2020 AIBC Conference. We recognize that many CES Participants earn their learning units (LUs) at Conference, and in support of registrants meeting their continuing education obligations during these unprecedented times, the AIBC has extended the current CES reporting period deadline by three months. The new reporting period deadline is now Wednesday, September 30, 2020 at 11:59 p.m. PST.
Personalized letters will be sent to each CES Participant based on their current compliancy status. The letter will outline the impacted processes and address any unique circumstances, such as for new registrants, or those completing their CES obligations via the Canadian reciprocity option.
To continue supporting registrants fulfil their mandatory continuing education requirements, the AIBC is exploring new ways to provide additional online opportunities and will be advertising opportunities from other jurisdictions and providers. These opportunities will be made available through regular AIBC communication such as Connected, Notices and the online Events Calendar.
