2020 Certified Professional Update Seminar

Registration for the 2020 Certified Professional (CP) Update Seminar, presented by the Architectural Institute of B.C. and Engineers and Geoscientists BC, is now open!

The session will be taking place on July 3 from 9 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., and is open to all CPs and their staff, as well as non-CPs. Due to public health concerns relating to COVID-19, this seminar will be offered via WebEx only.

Session Overview

The 2020 CP Update Seminar will focus on recent updates to the BC Building Code 2018, including Encapsulated Mass Timber, Elevator, Accessibility, and other new items now in force. The upcoming 2020 edition of the Guide to Letters of Assurance will also be covered. Participants will receive access to the PowerPoint slides via a web link.

AIBC CES Participants can earn 3.5 Core Learning Units by attending the session. In addition, the session is also eligible for continuing education credit with Engineers and Geoscientists BC.

Connection details will be emailed to all registrants, separately.

Cost:                $50.00 + GST
Registration:    Online by June 30, 2020
