Notice is hereby provided of the 101st Annual Meeting, in accordance with AIBC Bylaw 17.1 and Section 21 of the Architects Act.
The 101st Annual Meeting will be held online on Thursday, August 20, 2020 from 9 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. Pacific Time. As well as conducting the necessary annual business of the Institute, this virtual meeting is an opportunity to learn more about how the AIBC has fulfilled its mandate over the past year, as well as upcoming plans and initiatives. CES Participants who attend the Annual Meeting will receive 1.5 Non-core Learning Units.

All AIBC registrants and the public are invited to attend, and must register in advance – registration will open the week of July 13, 2020. Information including how to register, virtual meeting instructions and Annual Meeting materials will be sent via Notice, as well as made available at aibc.ca/about/annual meeting.
Although the meeting is open to all AIBC registrants and the public, voting on motions related to business agenda items is limited to Architects AIBC and Honorary Members.
New Protocol – Member Motions
Given the online format of this year’s Annual Meeting, all member motions must be submitted in advance of the Annual Meeting, for review by the Motions Review Committee and by those attending the Annual Meeting. There will be no opportunity to submit a member motion during the online meeting. Instructions on how to submit a motion and a copy of the member motion form will be provided the week of July 13. The deadline for submission is August 6, 2020.
