The Vancouver Building By-law (VBBL) was updated June 1, 2021 with lower heat loss, energy use and greenhouse gas limits for Part 3 new construction. This work is part of the implementation of the City of Vancouver’s Zero Emissions Building Plan to reduce emissions for new buildings by 90% by 2025 and is aligned with BC’s Energy Step Code. In this one-hour session, City of Vancouver staff will present on these changes to the VBBL and allow time for live Q&A. There are multiple dates in early July for this session. This session is intended for industry members who work with Part 3 large new buildings in the City of Vancouver.
