As announced in December 2020 (reminder published in May 2021), AIBC 6C and 8C Authorization Stickers are no longer required.
This means AIBC Standard Form contracts 6C and 8C will not need authorization stickers to be executed. The AIBC will not be providing refunds on authorization stickers. Any remaining stickers in your possession can still be used on contracts, although they are no longer required.
The associated Contacts and Practice Guidelines have been updated to reflect this change in requirements. This has been implemented as part of the AIBC’s continued commitment and mandate of upholding the public interest in regulating the architectural profession.
Please note that all other externally provided authorization stickers (CCDC copyright stickers) will still need to be purchased at a cost. The AIBC will continue to be a CCDC document outlet.
