New AIBC Registrant Portal Launching on Wednesday, December 1

November 18, 2021

Over the past year, the AIBC has been working on replacing the current registrant database with a new system. On Wednesday, December 1, 2021, the new portal – called the AIBC Registrant Portal – will be launching.

There are many improvements with the new AIBC Registrant Portal, including modernized look and feel, intuitive navigation, and streamlined processes, such as submitting forms directly online through the Portal. The AIBC will continue to develop new features for the Portal, and there will be more updates made to the system over the coming months.

ACTION REQUIRED: Setting Your Account Password

On December 1, Registrants will receive an email with their username and a link to activate their Portal account. Registrants must click the link and set a new password to access the new AIBC Registrant Portal. It is important to note that resetting your password is the only action registrants are required to take to access the Portal – all registrant information will have been migrated from the current database, and there will be no account setup necessary.

NO ACCESS FROM NOVEMBER 24 – 30

From November 24 to 30, Registrants will not be able to access either the current database, or the new AIBC Registrant Portal. This means that registrants will not be able to, for example, submit a self-report, update contact information, pay an invoice, or register for an event, during this timeframe.

As a reminder, the AIBC is requesting that all Registrant Information Updates as part of the Annual Renewal Cycle are made by November 23, in the current database system. The rest of the 2022 Annual Renewal, including fee billing, will be taking place in the new AIBC Registrant Portal.

Finding Information about the New Registrant Portal

On December 1, “Quick Guides” and an FAQ will be available to introduce registrants to the new system and help with certain new processes. The AIBC encourages users to explore the Portal once they have access.

If you have any questions about the new AIBC Registrant Portal, please email communications@aibc.ca.
