Registration is now open for PD Day 2023!
As previously announced, the first-ever AIBC PD Day will take place online on May 10, 2023. This one-day professional development event provides learning opportunities for architectural professionals in a streamlined format. Attendees can join virtually from across the province to learn about topics impacting today’s professional practice. Participants can earn up to 5 Core Learning Units (LUs) by attending, and have the opportunity to fully meet the AIBC’s new CES requirement of two Core LUs dedicated towards Indigenous Peoples Learning.
PD Day 2023 Session Announcement
PD Day will kick off with a plenary presentation from Founding Principal of SHoP Architects William Sharples, titled “Out of Practice”. The presentation will provide insight into the projects that launched and continue to evolve the multidisciplinary studio.
Following the plenary presentation, more than 10 sessions will be taking place over four tracks. The sessions will explore a wide range of current and thought-provoking topics, including: Inclusive Architecture; Affordability & Sustainability; Indigenous Peoples Learning; and Innovation & Technology.
