May 8, 2025

As of July 1, 2025, in the City of Vancouver, most new low-density development (single detached homes, duplexes and multiplexes) will require on-site rainwater management.

More information can be found at vancouver.ca/rainwater, including an overview of requirements and resources.

There are also several lunch-time “question and answer” sessions specifically for architects, builders, contractors and owners.

Online Question and Answer Sessions

A webinar will be held on Thursday, June 19 at 12 noon, and registration is available at events.teams.microsoft.com/event/0509a601-26cf-41cc-b02e-56244177316e@b980ec8f-09b6-420d-b039-d72ab2196283.
