The 2018 Oral Review schedule is now available for Intern Architects AIBC and Broadly Experienced Applicant (BEA) candidates to plan their path to registration for the year.
Those interested in taking the Oral Review are required to only submit an application form during the specific registration period for each round. Following the application deadline, AIBC staff will contact you to confirm your eligibility and your assigned Oral Review date.

Winter Oral Review Dates: March 6; March 8; March 15
Application Period: Thursday, January 18 – Tuesday, February 6 (at 4 p.m.)
Oral Review Workshop: Monday, February 5 at 6 p.m.
Spring Oral Review Dates: June 12; June 13; June 20
Application Period: Thursday, April 26 – Tuesday, May 15 (at 4 p.m.)
Oral Review Workshop: Monday, May 14 at 6 p.m.
Fall Oral Review Dates: September 20; September 25; September 26
Application Period: Thursday, August 2 – Tuesday, August 21 (at 4 p.m.)
Oral Review Workshop: Monday, August 20 at 6 p.m.
Free Oral Review Preparation Workshop
The AIBC offers a free Oral Review Preparation Workshop before each round of Oral Reviews. The workshops are scheduled on a specified weekday evening from 6– 7:30 p.m. Attendance is highly recommended for all Intern Architects AIBC and Broadly Experienced Applicant (BEA) candidates. Supervising Architects and Mentors of intern architects are also welcome. Please visit the Internship in Architecture Program website during the application period to view the scheduled workshop dates. RSVP’s for the next round of Oral Reviews are now being accepted.
