Need a Mother’s Day gift? Sunday, May 13 is almost here! Instead of the flowers-chocolate-card combination, why not give your mom a gift that will really make her smile, and she won’t forget? Experiential gifts are both thoughtful and creative, and you’re sure to make new memories and stories that you and your mom will be talking about for years to come.
If your mom is an architectural buff, has an appreciation for the built environment, or just loves to be outside and enjoying all that the city has to offer, then an AIBC Architectural Walking Tour could be the perfect experiential Mother’s Day gift.
Through its walking tour program, the AIBC offers stunning architectural perspectives of local neighborhoods in Vancouver and Victoria. These fun tours are a unique and engaging way to learn more about the architecture and history of these cities. Participants will see the cities in a way they never have before, by experiencing the architecture on foot with top-rated AIBC guides.
Regularly scheduled tours run in the summer months – the 2018 schedule can be found on the AIBC website. Tours are approximately 1.5 to 2 hours long, and may include walking distances of up to 3 kilometers.
You can book your tour online – simply select the neighbourhood you would like to explore and date, and you and your mom are set.
Happy Mother’s Day!
