Kelly Saunders of Cuisine by Design, who for nearly 22 years, has nourished the AIBC community by providing catering for meetings on an almost daily basis, has made the courageous decision to pursue other ventures. The AIBC would like to sincerely thank Kelly for everything she has done over the past two decades – she has become part of the AIBC fabric, and this is a considerable loss and change for the Institute.
Kelly made a cold call to the office decades ago to see if the AIBC needed a caterer. The receptionist told her that the AIBC was looking for a caterer and encouraged her to send a price list. Kelly decided to not only prepare a price list but to also bring a basket of fresh sandwiches to the office the next day. The sandwiches easily won over the crowd and Kelly became the AIBC’s caterer on February 1, 1999.
We will never be able to fully express our gratitude to Kelly for taking such good care of the AIBC for so many years. Please join us in thanking Kelly for her service and loyalty, and in congratulating her for embarking on an exciting new chapter.
