Less than Two Weeks Left to Register for Confab 2021!

April 29, 2021

There are less than two weeks left to register for AIBC Confab 2021! The virtual event features 15 sessions, a workshop, and two plenaries, which all explore topics highly relevant to today’s architectural professional.

Register for AIBC Confab 2021

Here are five reasons you should attend AIBC Confab 2021:

1. Convenient, Streamlined Format

AIBC Confab 2021 is taking place over two half days on May 10 and 11. This condensed schedule allows participants to better balance their professional development and working schedules. If you’re not able to attend the full event, more than 15 single sessions are also available.

2. Reduced Rate for All Participants

Given the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, AIBC Confab 2021 will be offered at a reduced rate for all participants. A variety of ticket options are available, including Full Package, Single Session(s), or Workshop:

  • Full Package: $275 per person
  • Single Session: $50 per session
  • Workshop: $100 per person

3. Earn Core Learning Units

This online event is a great way to earn Core LUs and satisfy Continuing Education System (CES) requirements before next year’s June 30, 2022 deadline. Participants can earn 7.5 Core LUs for full AIBC Confab 2021 attendance, 2.5 Core LUs for attending the interactive workshop, and 1.25 Core LUs for attending a single session. Given this is an AIBC delivered event, all LUs will be reported on the attendees’ behalf.

4. Attend from Anywhere

This year, AIBC Confab is a completely virtual event. This means you can attend from anywhere, as long as you have a stable internet connection. We are delighted to invite  professionals from around the province, country, and world, to join us at this event. Even though Confab 2021 is an online event, there will still be opportunities for attendees to network with other participants.

5. Variety of Learning Opportunities

There are a wide variety of learning activities available, including standard seminars and interactive learning environments (such as the Happy City Workshop, Addressing Housing Inequities). The sessions will be presented by a range of engaging speakers, who bring a unique perspective to each topic. The AIBC is delighted to have a mix of local Canadian presenters, as well as speakers from around the globe – such as the Netherlands, Spain, France, California, and Seattle. We recommend reviewing the session descriptions and speaker lineup to learn more and find which sessions best match your interests.

We encourage those who are interested in attending to register as soon as possible, as there are capacity limits for certain sessions. Please note ticket purchases will close 30 minutes before the session begins.
