AIBC Council Nominees Announced
The AIBC is pleased to announce that five candidates, all of whom were endorsed by the Nominations Review Committee, submitted their nomination for the five available 2022/2023 AIBC Council positions in accordance with Bylaw 21.0, and section 7 of the Architects Act. Of note, while there were originally seven candidates, two subsequently withdrew their nomination.
The new and returning AIBC councillors will be acclaimed for two-year terms at the 103rd Annual Meeting. The five councillors in alphabetical order are:
- Manoochehr Azizi Architect AIBC
- Jana Foit Architect AIBC
- Andy Guiry Architect AIBC
- Marguerite Laquinte Francis Architect AIBC
- Stuart Rothnie Architect AIBC

103rd Annual Meeting Registration Now Open!
Registration for the 103rd Annual Meeting is now open, and closes on May 23, 2022.
Registration information will be used to record Learning Units for CES Participants, as well as verify registrant eligibility to vote during the Annual Meeting in accordance with section 21(7) of the Architects Act. Please ensure that the information used to register for the Annual Meeting matches what is recorded with the AIBC (for example: legal name, not preferred name).

Registrant Forum Call for Motions
Architects AIBC are invited to submit a motion from April 13 to 25, 2022 for review by the Motions Review Committee and by those attending the Annual Meeting. Given the online format of the 103rd Annual Meeting, all motions must be submitted in advance. Motions will not be accepted during the online meeting on May 31. Instructions on how to submit a motion and a copy of the motion form are now available on the AIBC website. The deadline for submission of a motion is 4 p.m. on Monday, April 25, 2022.
