A disciplinary inquiry is a formal hearing by a Disciplinary Committee into the charges against an AIBC registrant that have been approved by AIBC Council. A Disciplinary Committee is comprised of three or more members of AIBC Council, and is a separate entity from the Investigations Committee.
At an inquiry, the AIBC and the respondent present evidence, call and cross-examine witnesses, and make arguments about the case. All inquiries are open to the public and those interested in attending are asked to confirm their attendance in advance via email (msands@aibc.ca) to confirm time and location of the hearing. Please note some hearings may be conducted exclusively online.
