The AIBC is pleased to report the results of the 2022 Certified Professional (CP) course. The CP course was jointly run by AIBC and Engineers and Geoscientists BC and consisted of 12 full-day seminars, all held online. The course concluded with two 8-hour exams, which took place on May 4 and 11, 2022.
The CP course is intended for architects, engineers and others with a strong knowledge of Canadian building codes and experience in the building construction industry wishing to advance their building code knowledge. Architects and engineers who pass the exam and meet the other course criteria can practice as CPs. The successful Intern Architects AIBC and Engineers-In-Training (EIT) will be able to practice as CPs when they become registered.
Out of the 33 candidates who wrote the CP Exam, 16 passed.
