Over the past several years, the AIBC has been adapting all four of the mandatory courses to an online and on-demand platform. We are delighted to announce that the first AIBC online course is now available – Architects and the Law.
Registrants can access the course through the new Online Course Portal. Please note that you will be required to create an account upon registering for the first course. Through the Online Course Portal, participants can select their course, register, virtually attend the full course offering and view all course materials.
As part of the transition to the online platform, all of the AIBC courses were reviewed and redesigned for an online environment. The new online courses feature activity-based learning strategies, and involve the same level of engagement as in-person.
The online courses are being launched in a phased approach. The remaining three courses (BC Building Code, Construction Administration, and Ethics, Act and Bylaws), will be available soon.
To learn more about the online courses, including course access, cancellation and registration policies, please visit the AIBC Courses webpage.
