The Nomination Committee is now accepting nominee applications for the 2023 AIBC Council election! The deadline to submit an application form is March 20, 2023. Council’s leadership, especially given the recent transition to the Professional Governance Act, plays a critical role in the governance of the AIBC, while ensuring an effective and efficient professional regulatory body.
The 2023 AIBC Council election is the first election to be governed by the Professional Governance Act and AIBC Bylaws, beginning with the Call for Nominees. As a reminder, under the Professional Governance Act, only nominees nominated by the Nomination Committee are eligible to run in the Council election.
2023 Council Election Package – Apply Today!

The package includes the nomination submission requirements and instructions, nominee competencies, as well as all relevant forms. Completed submissions must be received by 4 p.m. on March 20, 2023. The AIBC welcomes nominees from across B.C. as participation on Council can be facilitated by technology for remote attendance.
