Registration is now open for the 2024 AIBC Conference: Act!
Taking place from April 22–24, 2024, the AIBC is delighted to be hosting the 2024 Conference in-person at the Vancouver Convention Centre West, with online programming on the first day. This multi-day professional development event features nearly 30 sessions, including keynote speakers, a plenary presentation, and the much-anticipated movie night! This is a great opportunity to meet CES requirements – attendees can earn up to 17.25 Core and 1.5 Non-core Learning Units by attending the event.
Virtual Sessions on Monday, In-Person Networking Reception
AIBC Conference will begin with four engaging virtual sessions, which will cover a variety of topics – from artificial intelligence to supportive housing. Following the virtual sessions, the in-person programming begins at the Vancouver Convention Centre West (VCC) with the evening networking and reception event. Attendees will be able to connect with peers, check out an interactive activity, learn about the conference app, and pick up their AIBC Conference 2024 package.
Keynote and Plenary Presentations, 25+ Sessions
The remainder of the Conference will take place exclusively at VCC. Tamarah Begay, Founder of New Mexico-based firm Indigenous Design Studio + Architecture, will kick-off the keynote presentations on Tuesday morning with “Indigenous Values Through Design”. On Wednesday, the day will begin with the plenary presentation “Sen̓áḵw”, featuring Sxwíxwtn Wilson Williams from Squamish Nation, Graeme Silvera from Westbank, and Venelin Kokalov, Design Principal of Revery Architecture. And finally, conference will conclude with the closing keynote “Context is Everything”, delivered by Alison Brooks, Founder and Creative Director of London-based firm Alison Brooks Architects.

Variety of Ticket Types Available
Multiple ticket types are available at a range of prices, which can be found on the AIBC Conference 2024 website. Attendees are encouraged to select their sessions as part of the registration process. In-person programming has capacity limits, so it’s important to secure your seat as soon as possible to guarantee your preferred session choices.
Early bird rates were available until February 29, 2024.
