
Registration is now open for the 2026 AIBC Conference: People / Place / Possibility! Early bird rates are only available until April 9, 2026.
Taking place from May 25–27, the Conference will be held in-person at the Vancouver Convention Centre West, with virtual programming on Monday. This multi-day professional development event features 30 sessions, including keynote speakers, plenary presentations, and the much-anticipated movie night. Attendees can earn up to 15.5 Core and 1.5 Non-Core Learning Units by attending the full event.
Keynotes and Plenary Presentations, Four Virtual Sessions, 25+ Learning Opportunities
AIBC Conference opens with four engaging virtual sessions, including presentations from the AIBC Investigation Committee and international architectural firm MVRDV.
The event then moves in-person to the Vancouver Convention Centre West, where the Conference kicks off on Monday evening with the keynote address: “Adapting in Context”, presented by Michelle Delk, Partner and Landscape Architect at Snøhetta.
On Tuesday morning, Johanna Hurme, Co-Founder and Managing Partner of 5468796 Architecture Inc, delivers the plenary presentation “Architecture for Housing the 99%”. That evening, attendees have the opportunity to attend Movie Night for a screening of the award-winning film: “Building on the Edge”.
The final day begins with “Architecture Through the Lens of Two Row Thinking”, featuring Matthew Hickey, Partner at Two Row Architect. The conference will conclude with the closing keynote: “(RPM): Resistance, Play, Misbehaviour”, presented by Alex Josephson, Co-Founder and President of PARTISANS.

Variety of Ticket Types Available

Multiple ticket types are available at a range of prices, which can be found on the AIBC Conference 2026 website. Early bird pricing is only available for Full Conference tickets and In-Person Programming tickets, from March 5 to April 9. Regular rate pricing for all tickets begins on April 10. Attendees are encouraged to select their sessions as part of the registration process. In-person programming has capacity limits, so it’s important to secure your seat as soon as possible to guarantee your preferred session choices.
