There are two weeks remaining for AIBC Conference 2026: People / Place / Possibility early bird rates, available only until April 9, 2026 for Full Packages and In-Person Programming.
Taking place from May 25–27, the Conference will be held in-person at the Vancouver Convention Centre West, with virtual programming on Monday. This is a great opportunity to meet CES requirements before the upcoming June 30, 2026, deadline – attendees can earn up to 15.5 Core Learning Units by attending the event.
25+ Learning Opportunities: Keynotes, Plenary Presentations, Virtual Sessions
AIBC Conference will open with four virtual sessions, including presentations from the AIBC Investigation Committee and international architectural firm MVRDV. The event then moves in-person to the Vancouver Convention Centre West, with a lineup of several keynote speakers and plenary presentations, as well as the much-anticipated movie night:
- Opening Keynote: “Adapting in Context”, presented by Michelle Delk, Partner and Landscape Architect at Snøhetta
- Tuesday Plenary: “Architecture for Housing the 99%”, presented by Johanna Hurme, Co-Founder and Managing Partner of 5468796 Architecture
- Movie Night: “Building on the Edge”, directed by Bruce Borowsky and Mike Scalisi
- Wednesday Plenary: “Architecture Through the Lens of Two Row Thinking”, presented by Matthew Hickey, Partner at Two Row Architect
- Closing Keynote: “(RPM): Resistance, Play, Misbehaviour”, presented by Alex Josephson, Co-Founder and President of PARTISANS

Early Bird Pricing Only Available until April 9
Early bird pricing is only available for Full Conference and In-Person Programming tickets until Thursday, April 9. A variety of ticket types are available, and detailed information on pricing can be found on the AIBC Conference website.
Accommodation for AIBC Conference 2026
Special room rates for out-of-town conference attendees have been arranged at the Pinnacle Hotel Harbourfront, which is a convenient walking distance to VCC. The deadline to book is April 24, 2026 – rooms are based on availability, and those looking to reserve a hotel room are strongly encouraged to book early.
