2024–2026 CES Reporting Period Concluded, Start of 2026–2028 Reporting Period

July 2, 2026

The 2024–2026 AIBC Continuing Education System (CES) reporting period concluded on June 30, with the new cycle officially beginning on July 1. Thank you to all CES Participants who completed this mandatory regulatory requirement by the June 30 deadline.

2024–2026 CES Non-Compliance

CES non-compliance is addressed as an administrative matter, following the process outlined in AIBC Bylaws 5.14–5.24. CES Participants who were non-compliant with the requirements for the 2024–2026 reporting period have until September 30, 2026, to pay a fine and complete outstanding Learning Unit requirements. CES Participants who do not complete these actions by September 30 will no longer be in Good Standing and will be suspended from the Register. Additional details about the CES non-compliance process can be found on the CES webpage.

2026–2028 CES Reporting Period Cycle

Now that it is after July 1, the 2026–2028 CES reporting period cycle has officially started and CES Participants can start earning and reporting activities for the new cycle. The AIBC encourages CES Participants to log into the Registrant Portal to review their CES requirements for this reporting period. Please note that any eligible Core carry-forward amounts from the past period are automatically applied to the 2026–2028 CES Transcripts.

CES Resources & AIBC Contact

The CES webpage is the central hub of all program information to support CES Participants in understanding and completing their requirements. There are several resources available on the webpage, including the Practice Guideline: Continuing Education System (CES) and Registrant Portal Quick Guides, which explain how to check transcripts, submit self-reports, and submit Out of Province CES Declarations.

In addition to the resources available on the website, the AIBC professional services team is also available to assist CES Participants in understanding and meeting their requirements. If you have any questions about CES requirements or the non-compliance process, please email professionaldevelopment@aibc.ca.
