In March 2021, the Supervision of Intern Architect Bylaw (34.1.1) came into effect, as part of the Code of Ethics Part II Bylaw Initiative.
The Supervision of Intern Architect Bylaw introduced the ‘Supervising Architect Undertaking’, which requires supervising architects to sign and comply with a basic undertaking as to their responsibilities as a supervising architect under the Internship in Architecture Program. The Undertaking is consistent with the existing expectations from the Internship in Architecture Program/Supervising Architect and Mentor Guidelines (PDF).
