The City of Vancouver is hosting two free educational sessions on power efficient design in new multiplex buildings for builders and the extended builder community. The sessions will cover how power efficient design strategies can support new multiplex buildings by reducing energy use and minimize the time and cost of connecting to the electricity grid. The session will feature City staff, electricians, and industry experts who will share practical approaches and implementation considerations. Participants will also have an opportunity to connect with Canadian energy management system (EMS) providers.
The event is taking place in person on March 10, at BCIT’s High Performance Building Lab (campus map here: Burnaby Campus | BCIT Map Portal). There will be two sessions (identical in content), one at 8:30 a.m., and another at 12:30 p.m.
Registration is now open on Eventbrite: Power Efficient Design in new multiplex buildings.
