The 2026 Examination for Architects in Canada (ExAC) is taking place on November 2 and 3.
The registration period for the 2026 ExAC opens June 1 and will close on July 10, 2026 at 12 p.m. The deadline for experience submissions is June 30, 2026. More information can be found on the ExAC website.

How Do I Register for the ExAC?
For Intern Architects AIBC, follow these steps to register for the ExAC:
- Go to the ExAC website
- Under “Registration” in the top menu, select “Registration Procedure and Fees”
- Download the Registration Form (PDF)
- Fill in the respective fields. For security reasons, do not provide your credit card information in the form. Applicants will be invoiced after their form is submitted and approved
- Submit your completed form to iap@aibc.ca
