The Construction Prompt Payment Act (CPPA) Discussion Paper on behalf of the Ministry of Infrastructure has been released. The Discussion Paper (PDF) can be accessed on the Ministry’s Prompt Payment website.
The Discussion Paper builds on the substantial input provided during the development of the Act and is intended to support targeted engagement with stakeholders. It outlines proposed regulatory approaches and highlights specific areas where feedback will help inform the development of regulations.
The Ministry is seeking comments on the Discussion Paper during the open consultation period from May 26 to July 7, 2026. Please send your written feedback to Engage.INF@gov.bc.ca by July 7.
