Adoption of the 2018 BC Building and Plumbing Code
The Province has adopted the 2018 edition of the British Columbia Building Code, including Book II Plumbing Services (BC Building and Plumbing Code). The new BC Building and Plumbing Code will be effective December 10, 2018 and will apply to building permits applied for on or after that date. The BC Fire Code is anticipated to be adopted in the fall of 2018 and effective December 10, 2018. Read more

CANstruction Vancouver is back in 2018
In support of the Greater Vancouver Food Bank (GVFB), CANstruction Vancouver is an annual competition where teams from across the Lower Mainland compete in designing and building fun, large structures made entirely out of nutritious canned foods. One hundred per cent of the proceeds of CANstruction Vancouver goes towards the GVFB, in support of the more than 27,000 members the Food Bank serves weekly. Read more
