Newly developed proposals for changes to carbon monoxide detectors and alarms, as well as roof-top enclosures and roof-top occupancy requirements are now available on their website for review and feedback. As of April 2019, the National Research Council of Canada (NRC) is offering free access to the downloadable and electronic formats of the National Building Code, the National Fire Code, the National Plumbing Code, and the National Energy Code for Buildings, as well as the provincial codes published by the NRC.
