The 2018 Annual Firm Information Update began on October 1 and concluded on October 31. A reminder was sent to Firm Administrators regarding the deadline, as well as other pertinent information about how-to update profiles, Professional Liability Insurance, and invoices. To date, nearly 80 per cent have completed their firm information update. Read more

With the consultation period coming to an end for the proposed suite of Council and Institute Governance Bylaws, registrants are reminded that they have until November 2, 2018 to submit feedback regarding the initiative. The Council and Institute Governance bylaws are organized into five categories: Institute Seal; Officers and Council; Boards, Task Forces and Committees; Remuneration and Expenses; and Nominations and Elections. AIBC Launches Redesigned Courses for Intern Architects AIBC and Broadly Experienced Applicants
In 2017, the AIBC began an extensive review of the courses offered through the Internship in Architecture Program. One of the primary objectives was to ensure that entry-to-practice competencies for registration were being met by the curriculum. Read more
2018 Annual Firm Information Update
The 2018 Annual Firm Information Update has officially begun. This important regulatory requirement keeps firm information current, and helps maintain the integrity of the AIBC Register. The online directory of architectural firms, which is available to the public, is based on the AIBC Register. The information collected during the information update is also used to issue accurate annual fee invoices. Read more
