City of Vancouver Roundtable Workshop: Rain City Strategy
The City of Vancouver is inviting development and construction industry members to participate in a planning process to create a Rain City Strategy, which will guide how rainwater is managed and used in Vancouver. The goal is to capture and treat 90% of the rainwater that falls in Vancouver using a combination of green infrastructure and conventional pipe systems on both public and private property. Read more

Two Weeks Left to Register for the Advanced Code Knowledge Course!
Offered jointly by the Architectural Institute of B.C. and Engineers and Geoscientists British Columbia, the 2018 Advanced Code Knowledge Course will prepare participants for the coming changes in the BC Building Code, as it has been updated to include provisions from the 2015 National Building Code, which will be the basis for the new 2018 BC Building Code. 2018 Annual Renewal of Registration Deadline, FAQ and Firm Administrator Reminder
Annual Registration Renewal invoices were emailed to registrants the week of November 20, 2017 – thank you to all of the architects, associates and firms who have already paid their fees. To date, over 35 per cent of registrants have already submitted their payments. Read more
